The Cardinal Cooke Prayer

Gentle Servant of God, Terence Cooke, lend yourstrength
to my prayers. Be my friend in the presence of God, Intercede
for me, and obtain from the Lord all the graces and favors
that I need, especially (here make your request). With Jesus
and Mary you prayed, “Your will be done.” Help me to make
this prayer and to accept God’s merciful and loving will in all
things. I ask this through Jesus Christ, Our Lord. Amen.

This text is not an offi cial prayer of the Church; however, it is
being used by those seeking special grace though the intercession of
Cardinal Cooke.
